general info
Winter Fest is Taranaki’s mid-winter arts festival, created to bring people together through live performance, music, comedy and storytelling.
Running from 18 June to 8 July, the festival offers a diverse line-up of international, national and local artists, with everything from big, high-energy shows to more intimate experiences. Step out of the cold, try something new and enjoy a great night out!
Presented by the Taranaki Arts Festival Trust (TAFT), Winter Fest is part of a long-standing commitment to bringing arts and cultural experiences to the region.
For more than 30 years, TAFT has played a key role in connecting our community through the arts, supporting artists and contributing to a vibrant, creative Taranaki.
Winter Fest is made possible thanks to the support of our generous sponsors, partners and patrons, and the audiences who join us from near and far. Your support and willingness to show up are what make this possible.
We’re proud to welcome visitors to Taranaki and share the manaakitanga the region is known for, creating experiences that bring people together and make winter feel a little brighter.
